Wytwornia Konstrukcji Kompozytowych Andrzej Papiorek produces equipment for air pollution control plants: modular structure biofilters from 5 to 600 sqm and scrubers.

Biofilters are used for desodouring of the polluted air by biological destruction of bad smelt in the bed of biomass.

The steps of biofiltration: cooling, washing and humidifying of the air in pre-scrubber, blowing the air under the bioactive bed, slow infiltration of the air through 1-1,5 m thick bed.

The efficiency of process is about 95%.
